Every day we learn more about the spread of COVID-19 and it’s impact not only in Australia, but across the globe, in communities both large and small. It is clear by now that this virus is not to be taken lightly and that each of us has a role to play in preventing the situation from becoming worse. Like all citizens, we can help prevent or slow the spread of the disease through the information we receive – washing hands, staying clear of crowds and isolating ourselves if unwell.
Though we do not have the widespread transmission of the virus as in other countries, there is still a great concern for the safety and health of everyone, and so IofCA is taking precautionary steps to ensure that we are doing our part to help stop the spread of the virus.
With the health of our friends, partners and staff in mind, we are announcing that Armagh will be closed to the public until further notice.
Our staff will be working from home during this time and will still be conducting business and running programmes as usual. If you have a question about a certain event or programme, feel free to reach out to us.
Of course, if there is something that you need, we are here to help you. During events of upheaval, we are heartened by our connection to a global network who guides and inspires us, even in the most difficult of times. Initiatives of Changes’ International Council, the governing body for our parent organization, recently published a call for solidarity which helps to lift our spirits and remind us that we are all in this, together.
