Creators of Peace is an international women’s initiative started in 1991, inviting women to engage in the creation of peace at every level of society. This Peace Circle is being offered by the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Sydney and is open to both men and women.

Why: To experience being together with others of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs/faiths and to explore together your own peace-creating ability to generate peace in your own life and in your wider community.

How: A group will meet over two days and an evening to work through a series of topics and exercises designed to help you become more aware of your peace-making potential and also offer the possibility to share our stories with each other in an atmosphere of trust and respect.
 

What's involved:

  • participating in the whole program
  • honest sharing and good listening within the group and
  • contributing generally towards building an atmosphere of trust and respect
