Rob Wood coordinated the Life Matters leadership program for young people for 23 years and, with partner Cheryl, hosted the residential community at ‘Armagh’ for 28 years. A talented musician, singer and songwriter, he has composed and scripted musical reviews and participated in international traveling shows.
Rob has traveled and worked extensively in Asia, including seven years living in India, and 12 visits to Cambodia. In Australia, he has worked with diaspora communities from Cambodia, Vietnam and South Sudan, as well as serving as a member of the IofC committee that organizes the annual Asia-Pacific Youth Conference (APYC).
He is a board member of the social enterprise Lentil As Anything, and serves as advisor to the Afghan-Australian Initiative, a community-based group in Melbourne.
He has trained in centre management and is a French speaker.
