‘Demain’ (Tomorrow) screening

Saturday, June 24, 2017 - 19:00

WINTER FILM SERIES: This regular series of peace-related documentaries returns to Armagh after a successful trial as a Next Step Experiment last year. Details below. Contact Delia Paul, delia.paul@iofc.org  for details of the Melbourne screenings, and if you are able to help with set-up or front-of-house management on any of the screening nights.

Saturday 24 June: ‘Demain’ (Tomorrow). Concerned about the impending collapse of the ecosystems that support life in our world, a group of French parents explore the globe in search of solutions for their children and future generations. Drawing on successful experiments in agriculture, energy, education, and democracy, they seek to tell a new story of the future. This film won the 2016 César Award in France for Best Documentary. After the film, we will have Q&A from some of our project developers who participated in the first round of IofC Australia’s Sustainable Impact Mentoring programme, about the changes they are making in their neighbourhoods and communities.

All Melbourne screenings are at 7 pm. Pizza will be on offer from 6.30 pm. We ask for $10/head to cover costs. If you are able to donate more than $10, this will help raise funds for the Sustainable Impact Mentoring, Creators of Peace, and Life Matters.
